London, 2002. Aspiring rock-star, Pete Doherty meets Peter Wolfe, an unknown artist. Their lives collide and their destinies are thence entwined. Fame and infamy follow. Along the way they record Wolfe’s haunting ballad, “For Lovers”, Doherty’s biggest hit song. He is on his way to stardom, but his best friend, poet, songwriter/performer and heroin addict, Wolfman, remains in the shadows. An intimate and innovative portrait shot over 5 years.
